The Job

We are looking for a detailed oriented, efficient, and well-organized team member with excellent communication skills to serve as a Level 1 IT Support Specialist.

This position will serve as a potential first or second point of contact for our partners seeking technical assistance.  You will diagnose, research, and resolve tier 1 technical issues for our partners. The daily responsibilities could expand over time with the potential for advancement. This role requires attention to detail and strong communication skills.

The Team

This position will be part of our level one team, which plays a vital role in our expanding Service Desk Team.  This position reports to the Director of Partner Support.  

What You’ll Do All Day

  • Serve as the first point of contact for our partners seeking technical assistance via phone, e-mail, or our automated ticketing system.
  • Diagnose, research and resolve tier 1 technical hardware and software issues.
  • Effectively communicate ticket status until service ticket is resolved.
  • Provide accurate information on our IT products and services.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
  • Maintain the highest possible level of customer service.
  • Accurately maintain end-user installation procedures, configuration procedures, and documentation.
  • Resolve any backup, anti-virus, or other proactive service tickets assigned by NOC.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned

  • 1-3 years’ service desk experience.
  • Proficient problem-solving ability.
  • Understanding of Windows / Corporate networking environments.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

We’d Like to See

  • Any experience in the Dental or Medical IT support vertical a HUGE plus.
  • CompTIA ITF+, CompTIA A+, or CompTIA Network+ certificate.
